I've tried the fedex module that is included in satchmo, along with the soap version and I can't get response times quicker than 4 or 5 seconds, at best. Most of the time its 6+ seconds.
Its not the request/response from fedex that is taking so long, its processing the request to send to fedex for each shipping method, and then returning the results back to the checkout page. Has anybody else had better luck with this?
