Hi,

I use a middleware to detect the mobile browser and then alter the template 
path. This way all the core views stay the same. I use jQueryMobile to do the 
heavy lifting.
Here is an example of this in action in production.
http://blackbookdailydeals.com visit it with your browser then with your mobile 
phone.
