With most mail clients and mail providers this should not be necessary: Google Groups adds some unique header fields which may be used for filtering in the client or on the server. Obvious candidates are the following two: X-Google-Group-Id: 610871538926 Sender: [email protected] I filter for the "Sender:" field and store all matches away into a specific folder on the IMAP server. However, I see that you used the iOS mail program to post, and that is IMHO one of the few clients where such filtering is not possible. But I am sure that Gmail would allow filtering on the server.
