The registration app looks for settings.ACCOUNT_ACTIVATION_DAYS, and causes a ruckus if it is not found.
There is also a livesettings value for the same thing, which is in * satchmo/apps/satchmo_store/contact/config.py* * * Without modifying the registration app to use the value from livesettings, it seems redundant to have that value be specified in multiple places.
