It wont. In addition to the other issues mentioned, newer Django versions
(after 1.4.3 I believe) have a bugfix that will break the sorl-thumbnail
templatetags. If you're getting an error on your {% endthumbnail %}
template tags, that's why. The solution: Django 1.4.3 and Sorl-Thumbnail
11.12. I use that combo with satchmo-0.9.3 and have only good things to say
about it.
