Apologies for the late notice, but this coming saturday and sunday is
barncamp (learn more below) up in everett at Mac's Orchard. I believe
some of you have been up there before. all are welcome, but please do
rsvp, especially if you plan to camp because there is limited space. And
while we encourage people to come up and stay over, you can certainly
come for either day, hang out, talk, pick some pears.
What is BarnCamp?
BarnCamp is an "un conference" there is no agenda, just open space for
people to lead workshops and discussions about sustainability,
sustainable living, the environment, and all that sort of stuff. Think
backyard farming, composting, windowbox herb gardens, DIY solar, bike
hacking, hypermile-ing, canning and preserving, carbon footprint
shrinking, eco-friendly crafting and whatever else you can think of!
We'll have two days of it, *Saturday and Sunday September 20 and 21*.
We'll be camping saturday night.
