Alrighty! This Saturday will be the first week of the Arduino workshop. We'll starting at 2:00 PM (someone correct me if I'm misremembering) and going until at least 4:00 PM. I'll definitely be around until 5:00 or so.
The majority of folks will be assembling an iDuino kit v3. Here are the assembly instructions: http://spiffie.org/kits/iduino/assemble3.shtml More general information about the iDuinos at: http://spiffie.org/kits/iduino/ Please read through the assembly instructions once before we get started. Also, please watch one or more of the following videos on how to solder if you don't know already: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dkragEKSKI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_NU2ruzyc4 Lada Ada has another jumping off point for how to solder: http://ladyada.net/learn/soldering/index.html Also, this instructable is pretty good too, if a bit wordy: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-solder/ No need to ingest all of this material. Just be sure to read the assembly instructions once and watch/read a bit about how to solder. See y'all on Saturday, Jon PS: Since there was quite a bit of interest about this earlier I am sending this to the list rather than to the subset of folks who are participating. Let me know if for some reason a majority of the list find this irritating. -- Jon Dugan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Website: http://saturdayhouse.org/ Post: [email protected] Unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
