Hum, correct.
I think it should be possible to translate data content. On all labels, we
could run gettext. The only thing that matter would be to have the original
strings known to gettext. We can, for that purpose, having a fake php page
that would not be included in the running frontend, that would be generated
from the database, containing _("Bla") for all the labels.
I do not know how gettext internally works but I can tell that it apparently
only needs msgid and msgstr to work.
