I personnally think we should have Savane that impose it's settings to
mailman.
Mailman security is non-existant, an account can be cracked way to easily.
Even if such settings importation would be restricted to mailing-list, it does
not make the option attractive.
Considering what is at stakes here (having or not having a non-essential link
shown on a page) and the energy that would have to be spent to write a full
interface between mailman conf and savane database content, I doubt this bug
will ever be fixed.
Indeed, if someone feels it is really important and want to spend time on it,
he can go for it. But until then, I close the item (my policy is to keep open
only items that must be handled or that we can reasonnably assume someone will
handle in the future).
