Follow-up Comment #1:
There's such mail, since the account is not even created until one confirm it
with an url given in the mail.
There's an exception to that: the first account created by the system
administrator installing Savane. That's a specific case and we do not expect
him to forget it's name.
If no mail get sent for normal users, maybe it's the smtp that failed to
deliver it.
