Hi -
Savane is a great tool! After getting apache/php/mysql installed and
configured, and working thru Savane's installation things are finally up and
running. (apache 1.3.33, mysql 3.23.53, php 4.3.11, perl 5.8.3)
One thing that was not clear to me during installation is getting the email
notifications to work.. I have my savannah instance on a private network and
im not exactly sure how to configure email (I didnt see any config for SMTP
addresses, etc) - am I missing a package? I saw references to something
called "mailman" and "exim", etc.. do i need to install and configure these
separately? ...not sure what im missing...
I cannot create my first account (and project) without it - because I cannot
activate my account without the activation email..
