Follow-up Comment #2, sr #620 (project savane):
After installing the Perl module Mail::Send ( at Debian it was inside the
libmailtool-perl ) I stopped receiving these messages and the backend is now
working.
About the problem with the login, I have verified that the values of the
php.ini file are correct.
Looking at the apache.log file, I find the following error messages which I
think are related to my problem:
