Follow-up Comment #4:
So the bug is not in the message content neither it is related to browser,
there must be a small bug introduced in late changes making the < > not being
excluded from the url (unless you havent updated the code recently).
I let toddy which is more familiar with that part of the code looking into
it.
Note that you may want to update you copy of the cvs a little bit older as
workaround, until this bug get fixed.
