Follow-up Comment #10, task #2171 (project savane):

In the Savane download directory, there are currently tarballs for 1.0.3.1
(and 1.0.3), 1.0.4.1, 1.0.4.2 (as well as 1.0.4).
Moreover, the release 1.0.5 doesn't exist anymore. Instead, the user can
download 1.0.5a.
What's the story behind those extra versions? I can't remember right now.
It seems to me that 1.0.5a (with a missing 1.0.5 release) corrected a minor
bug as well, just like we must do now. There wasn't a news item about 1.0.5a
as well, and it isn't even mentioned in the file Changelog.byversion. So why
would 1.0.8a not be appropriate?

OK, judging from that list, I would go for "+" as well.
