Details:
To use the Savane debian packages, you must add in /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://dl.gna.org/savane/debian/ stable/
Then use apt-get, as usual.
For instance, after updating your /etc/apt/sources.list, you could do:
$ apt-get update
$ apt-cache search savane
That should returns you the list of available packages, with a meaningfull
explanation for each.
For instance, if you just use Savane with providing SCM, and everything is
installed on one server, you could run:
$ apt-get install savane-frontend-php savane-database savane-backend-config
savane-backend-mail savane-backend-misc savane-backend-export
