It is not really necessary. But if Gna! uses JavaScript at least somewhat often, I'd suggest that you add it to the header unconditionally, whether there is a script on the page or not. I guess browsers just default to JavaScript, but I think some additional 100 bytes per page is not that high a price. Paul
