Well, I'd say that what was ugly was to hardcode that feature in the
back-end, with some areweonsubversions() calls.

I think I (or you) cleaned-up that part at the time of the Savannah
local post-crack changes merge.

The fact to have some people member of the 297 GNU webgroups doesn't
really annoy me.

I'll try to avoid complicating the life of the gnu.org webmasters. In
the worst case, I'll re-add the hardcoded hack, maintaining a patch.
