Summary: plugin for Eclipse IDE
Original Submission: Hi,
I would like to know if a plugin exists for the Eclipse IDE in order to add
simple way to access to Savane database.
More precisly, my idea was to have a way to consult, from Eclipse, the tasks
and bugs of my project hosted by Gna!. I know such thing exist for the Bugzilla
database.
If not (all my search on Internet failed) it is probably not difficult to
modify the 'buglist' plugin in order to access Savane database. The most
difficult (I suppose) is to find a way to access the database in a 'RAW' form,
ie. not via HTML, but accessing directly the information (XML, CSV, SQL query?)

How about implementing something using XML-RPC?
You would only have to export part of the URL-space, it's 'live' and it
wouldn't require direcct access to the database or continuous regeneration of
data files (CSV, RSS, XML, etc).
Plus all the code to do it is in Savane already, so all you would need is a few
wrapper XML-RPC wrapper functions.

I reassign this item to Savane, as it is not really dependent on Gna! but on
Savane.
