Summary: arch storage permissions unclear

Original Submission: I tried to work with multiple people on an arch
repository (arch FAQ indicates that this works:
"If you want several developers to commit direclty into the same public
archive, you may be interested in making the public archive the main one, so
every authorized commiter can access it at any time."), but currently, as soon
as one of us writes, the others can't.
I manually set group +w for the whole directory structure, but that can't be
repeated all the time..

for the time being, there seems to be a hack using umode which I'll look into,
but a more permanent solution (ACLs? I think there was some talk about it)
would be nice, as well as an update to the FAQ with regard to the central
archive solution
