Hello, I will soon publish the first release of Savane. I consider important for a free software project to be released frequently and since the CERN branch has been merged, I do consider Savane as decently distributable.
It can be installed by a sysadmin without to much troubles and from a functional point of view, it works. There is still lot of work to do but I do not expect it to be done within two days. So there's no reason to delay any longer Savane release.
