Original Submission: I created the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list yesterday.
It did work properly but I never received the mail providing the administrative
password. Before looking for a bug, it would be worth looking in the logs to
see if a delivery failure happened.

This was in fact a bug, it not up to mailman but to Savane.
I sent a mail providing this information to all list owners and update the
backend to avoid encontering this problem once more.

I found nothing in the logs looking like an error.
However, I do not remember if it mailman that is supposed to send the mail or
the web interface.
I'll look into it ASAP.
