Hi Mathieu,

wow, that was a long answer. Considering what you said, I have to admit that I 
haven't looked at the issue this way. Of course you're right, it's not the 
program's task to cope with insufficient browsers.

My intention to write that was mainly inspired by the testing I'm currently 
doing. It would be handy if I could just click on a link and see the page in 
a different language. However, normally you just don't do that, so the need 
for this feature is probably not existant.

The only reason I can think of is if someone is using Savane with a computer 
where he hasn't got the appropriate rights to change the setting of the 
browser, e.g. in an internet cafe. Pretty seldom, huh?

And I certainly don't want to reimplement the charmaps...
