Hi all,

as some of you may have noticed, I haven't had as much time lately as I
thought I would have. As a result, the current development branch for the
wiki-style formatting is still not ready for merging into the trunk.

When I initially set up that branch, I asked Mathieu if all development,
even not related to the wiki-markup, should happen on the branch. We
decided to do that, as we both thought that the development would be much
faster -- and merging a branch into a "moving" trunk has always some
difficulties.

However, I think that we should probably revert our decision about the
branch policy. Here's my offer: I'll separate all non-wiki changes from the
development branch, commit them to the trunk, and rename the wiki-branch
(so that nobody accidentally commits there instead of the trunk). I would
take care of merging the trunk changes periodically into the development
branch, so that the final merge back into the trunk should be relatively
easy.

As I see it, there are some small issues and bug fixes pending, which could
easily be applied to the trunk. Moreover, we have a complete new
translation to Swedish, still not released (which is a shame, IMO).

Should we get into speed with the trunk, so that we can do a release of
Savane in a few weeks? The wiki-style can then follow in a later release.

I'd like to hear your opinions.

Regards,
Tobias
