Follow-up Comment #1:
I think we should probably release this version as 3.0.
The markup stuff changes lot of things.
The items page with the original submission shown as comment is quite
different.
The spam filtering mechanisms are quite new too.
I guess that if we consider incrementing the first number for major changes,
the second for minor changes, this perfectly make sense.
