I followed those instructions exactly, just verified again in httpd.conf that
they are set.
I am about to scrap my entire install and do a fresh and very careful install
of savane 1.1, to see if that will resolve these issues.
To clarify one point: Savane can definitely talk to the database - when I
Register a new Group, the Support Tracker definitely has (correctly
formatted) tasks in it relating to Group approval by admins. But I cannot
change those tasks, even as superuser (they simply revert to precisely how
they were before I attempted to edit them), nor create new ones (well, I can
create them, but they show up without the Summaries that I gave them and all
of their options are reset to the defaults), and I cannot turn on the Bugs
Tracker feature in any group, Despite the Group Type saying they should be
available. AND CVS repositories and MailMan lists for not not appear to get
created for any Groups.
I will let you know if any of these issues go away after I install 1.1 and do
a fresh config.
