# user* binaries path
# If you do not want to use useradd/usermod/userdel that are in the
# usual PATH but specific ones, you can type here their prefix.
# Otherwise, comment out.

# our $sys_userx_prefix="";
This strikes me as very wrong-headed. Not all *n*x systems have any such
utilities as `useradd`, etc. (e.g. on some they are `adduser`, etc.) This
should be extended with three variables: $sys_useradd_path, etc., and one
would use explicit paths to them. If a user is on a `normal` unix/linux
system they could just set $sys_userx_prefix, but if on a `weird` unix, such
as OpenBSD, which uses (or did, as of the last time I used OpenBSD)
completely different names for these utilities, the user would have to set
complete paths to each. If the user was confused and did both, the three
separate complete paths should override the all-in-one variable, obviously
(otherwise it would use the correct path but the locally incorrect utility
names!)
