Yes, these scripts are run by root user. The error is same even if these
scripts are run manually or via cronjob.
I have compiled the savane-2.0.tar.gz package. Its not a apt-get
installation. These scripts were scheduled using cron when i ran make conf.
But, unfortunately the cron entries corresponding to these scripts are not in
/etc/crontab, they do not even appear when I do "crontab -l" as root.
One more thing is, there was savane installed earlier by apt-get. I purged
the old installation using dpkg and then compiled and installed
savane-2.0.tar.gz package.
