Hi everyone,

I'm currently attempting to become familiar with savane site admin.
There are a number of questions and queries that I'm hoping you can
help me with.

The first question relates to the choice of scm. We are planning to
use svn and/or git. I've noticed some references to git in relation to
savane, but not found any instructions for making a savane site git
aware. Are any available?

The setup of a group offers primary, secondary and tertiary scm
choices. I presumed that if I wanted my users to have svn only then I
should the disable primary and secondary and allow only the tertiary
choice (svn). I set up the default project this way, but noticed that
sv_groups --debug reported the following:

DBG update: testproj, type:1, public:1, homepage:1, cvs:0, arch:0,
svn:0, download:0
         /var/www/homepages/%PROJECT / /

I also noticed that the primary choice (cvs) offers the option of
"basic subversion direcory". So I'm wondering whether this selection
is really the way to select svn?

My problem may stem from a misunderstanding of what the primary,
secondary and tertiary scm sections are intended for. I had assumed
that is was simply the order in which system support was added, but
perhaps it is something deeper. Can anyone expand on this?

Thanks
