We received a note on webmasters about http://ftp.gnu.org/savannah/cvs/, which was the nightly "latest" builds. Now dated 2003.
I imagine that this was a process that went away when sysadmin shut down general access to the machine. It looks to me like there is nothing recent under http://ftp.gnu.org/savannah and it could all be removed/archived. ? Are there "latest" cvs tarballs built on savannah for gnu projects? (Not that this really matters, I'm just asking for my own info.) Thanks, Karl
