It has been a large issue; I guess the reports just didn’t reach
Savannah hackers, lucky you.  ;-)

Guix is in the process of moving to Codeberg; the motivation is
elsewhere but due to the low availability of Savannah in recent months,
it feels like a relief to many.

At any rate, I can imagine what it’s like to deal with these AI crawlers
(we are confronted with the same problem on the services Guix hosts) so
Savannah sysadmins have all my sympathy.  Thanks a lot for your work!
