The answer says "Everything should work fine by now."
However, CVS commits or update are still broken by now.
For example on project Dolibarr, we got:
cvs ci -m "xxx" -l "myfile"
can't create temporary directory /tmp/cvs-serv16194
failed due to an internal error (took 0:03.578)
Error: The server reported an error: Read-only file system
Error: dolibarr: can't create temporary directory /tmp/cvs-serv16194
