Yes.  There definitely seems to be some problem with the new account
registration flow and expiration.

I have manually activated your account.  Please use the lost password recovery
to obtain a password.  That should be working for you now.

Sorry you had to go through this trouble!  Please let us know if you are now
able to login. I think you should be able to do so.
