Follow-up Comment #2, sr#110997 (group administration): If a list is ordered chronologically oldest to newest, reversing that turns it into newest to oldest. If it's ordered newest to oldest, reversing that turns it into oldest to newest. No matter which order a list starts in, reversing it always has the result of putting it in the opposite order.
On the other hand, you cannot revert a list that has only had one order displayed. "Revert" means "to go back to a former condition, practice, subject, or belief" (per [http://ahdictionary.com/word/search.html?q=revert American Heritage Dictionary]). There is no former ordering the first time you look at a list; therefore, there is nothing to revert to. But you can still reverse the order. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.nongnu.org/support/?110997> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.nongnu.org/
