Follow-up Comment #2, sr#111022 (group administration): I am sorry you are affected by this anti-abuse strategy. The problem is that malicious agents create thousands and thousands of accounts in the attempt to post spam or other malicious activity. Therefore we have needed to implement various anti-abuse policies. One is that idle accounts are expired if they are not used. This policy is documented here.
