The last sentence of http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?40720#comment8 uses the
"nomarkup" tag. The sentence renders identically within savannah and in the
email generated from the comment (archived at
http://lists.gnu.org/r/bug-groff/2025-11/msg00189.html).
This sentence is quoted near the end of the (very long) follow-up comment, and
it still looks the same within savannah. The generated email, however
(http://lists.gnu.org/r/bug-groff/2025-11/msg00190.html), this time did not
recognize "nomarkup" as a tag.
This may have been because the line began with a ">", but since the savannah
display still knows "nomarkup" is a tag here, it's unclear why the ">" would
affect the email.
