Follow-up Comment #6, sr #111374 (group administration): I wanted to add that a checking process for stale mirrors has been on my task list for a while. I have a check that each mirror is online serving pages and git. But I don't have a check that the data being served is not stale. I have been counting on git which does the right thing here for git operations. It is not completely trivial to know how to tell if a thousand plus git repositories are all updated and not stale. But that's something that is needed still and I am still considering the best way to check for this condition.
