Follow-up Comment #3, task #13451 (project administration): Re: #2, Copyright assignment for GNU Grep:
No, in the case of GNU Grep, there is a requirement for all (non-trivial) portions to be explicitly assigned to the FSF (with trivial changes automatically given FSF ownership). I have executed such an assignment/disclaimer for myself, with explicit authority from my employer (Grouse Software): Subject: [gnu.org #599112] Brenton James Hoff From: "Donald R Robertson III via RT" <copyright-cl...@fsf.org> Reply-To: copyright-cl...@fsf.org Date: Fri, 20 Dec 2013 15:31:16 -0500 To: behoff...@grouse.com.au RT-Ticket: gnu.org #599112 Hello, Your assignment/disclaimer process with the FSF is currently complete; your fully executed PDF will be sent to you in a separate email immediately following this one. Please remember to let us know when your employment status changes, as this may affect your assignment status. Thank you for your contribution! All the best, Donald R. Robertson, III, J.D.
