There are such repos at savannah. As an example, freetype has:
git://git.sv.gnu.org/freetype/freetype2.git
git://git.sv.gnu.org/freetype/freetype2-demos.git
The repos mentioned at <http://savannah.nongnu.org/p/reindeer>
are additional examples.
:; lynx -dump http://git.sv.gnu.org/r/ | egrep /r/.+/$ | egrep -v git/$
will show all of them.
I don't know whether there are any such examples for hg, bzr or arch.
