Hi all !

Did you know about this library:
"This library allows the
person porting the code to simply replace the calls into OSS/ALSA with
calls into interface functions of this library. The library buffers a
small amount of audio data and takes care of the rest of the jack
implementation including the linked list of audio data buffers and the jack
callback."

http://bio2jack.sourceforge.net/

Perhaps we could try to implement jack using it ??

"Projects that are currently using bio2jack:

xmms-jack - Jack audio output plugin for XMMS (This plugin was developed in
parallel with this library)
mplayer - Popular media player for linux
veejay - Video editing software with an impressive number of video effects

MythTV - PVR system(like TiVo). I've got one of these in my living room
actually, works GREAT"
