Samuel's adaptation of video.image makes it possible to get the old
behavior using video.image("yourfile",blank()). Here, blank() is asked
to produce blank video, which it can do.
However, I don't believe it's the natural way to go here. What we want
is a way to decode an image like other media files, i.e.
single("yourfile").
This is not yet available, but should be easy to do. Feel free to give
it a shot, generating an infinite stream for now -- then I can take
care of getting the duration information from the metadata to the
decoder.
Cheers,
