Being able to stream MP3 without reencoding has been requested many times.
Actually I'm starting to think that it is not /that/ complicated since all MP3
frames apparently contain exactly 576 samples. So, we could have a special
mode, where we force the frame rate to be (a multiple of) 576 samples and have
the operators decode the stream only when needed. We could start by adapting
only a few operators, for example add and smartcross, so that decoding only
occurs during transitions.
