I'm currently painfully reconfiguring and recompiling liquidsoap with theora
encoding support on a slow server, and got this idea: we could have a really
simple video output operator, producing snapshots of the video stream every N
seconds, as images (JPG or whatever) on the disk. It's probably very easy, we
even already have support for the date formats in output.file(), so that the
snapshot image is timestamped.
