I can confirm this behavior with latest Liquidsoap version for Windows.
Silence streaming _sometimes_ uses CPU up to 8 times higher causing CPU usage
for 100 when several liquidsoap instances are running.
If I restart all instances and play silence immediately after restart, it work
as usual, but after some time CPU usage is increasing dramatically. I will try
to analyze in details and find out when exactly it happens.
