Hello list, (and nice to meet you Samuel)
I checked somefile.mp3 on my ubuntu box and it plays normally :/ but I can definitely reproduce the error on a test radio station on my Debian Etch server. > Samplerate did not manage to convert the sound for some reason. An > error message should be output on stderr, it would be nice if you > could give it to us. Of course I'd like to help, where can I find that output? The full log I'm getting on my test station is: server:$ ./test.liq 2007/09/10 21:45:00 >>> LOG START 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [protocols.extproto:3] Didn't find "ufetch" 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [protocols.extproto:3] Found "/usr/bin/wget" 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [main:1] Liquidsoap 0.3.2+svn (trunk/[EMAIL PROTECTED]) 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [lang:2] WARNING: there is no configuration key named "log.dir"! 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [lang:2] WARNING: there is no configuration key named "socket"! 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [threads:3] Created thread "light task scheduler" (1 total) 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [threads:3] Created thread "root" (2 total) 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [root:3] Waking up active nodes... 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [playlist-test.txt:3] Loading playlist... 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [playlist-test.txt:3] Prepared "/path/to/somefile.mp3" -- rid 2 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [icecast.test.mp3:3] Connecting mount test.mp3 for [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [icecast.test.mp3:3] Connection setup was successful. 2007/09/10 21:45:00 [icecast.test.mp3:3] Setting up an MP3 encoder... 2007/09/10 21:45:01 [root:3] Broadcast starts up! 2007/09/10 21:45:01 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:3] switch to [EMAIL PROTECTED] liquidsoap: samplerate_stubs.c:53: ocaml_samplerate_convert: Assertion `ret == 0' failed. As a quick fix, I would advice to disable the use of > ocaml-samplerate in PACKAGE (liquidsoap's internal samplerate > conversion will be used instead). Well, it is on production and was compiled by hand using revision 3735. Can I disable this feature without recompiling? I cannot stop the service and don't like to work on Saturday midnight ;) I have parties to go Thanks for doing this amazing software Jorge Medellin - Colombia ------------------------------------- Saca tu propia cuenta de email gratis en Colombia entrando a http://mail.conexcol.com
