This seems to have really made a difference! Now it only takes 37 seconds for liquidsoap to reconnect if I kill the source. During the 37 seconds netstat shows the connection being in a CLOSE_WAIT state. I presume that this is due to a 30 seconds timeout in the OS and 7 seconds in liquidsoap?
