Hi, David,

Thanks for your replay. I think I should have explained clearly my radio
station
requirements.

A jingle need to be played always after tracks end.  For example, there are
four tracks: a 10-min track, a 12-min track, a 15-min track, and a 20 min,
and these tracks are played in order. There is a 20-sec jingle.

Then, the following is the sequence of play.

1. the jingle
2. the 10-min track
3. the 12-min track
4. the jingle
5. the 15 min track
6. the jingle
7. the 20 min track
8. the jingle

Subject: [Help] I would like to get the time length of audio tracks(files), and
accumulate and check them...

Hi,

I would like to use time length of audio tracks to play a station-id
between the
tracks.

My radio program requirement is to play a station-id after an audio track is
finished if the track lasts over 15 minutes.  If an audio track ends before 15
minutes, then the play time is accumulated with the next audio track. Then, if
the accumulated  play time is over 15minutes, a station-id needs to be played
again.

1. How can I get the time length of an audio track (or audio file)? Is there
such a function in liquidsoap? Or, Can liquidsoap use external libraries?

2. How can I accumulate and check the play time?
