Hi once again!
In an attempt to discover why output.icecast.vorbis plays 16 seconds,
pauses for 7 seconds, and resumes where it left off, repeating the
process until all items are played, I ran a series of tests:
Original setting:
output.icecast.vorbis(quality-0.8,samplerate=22050,stereo=false,...,)
I dropped the samplerate down to 8000, and adjusted the quality to 0.1
Result: the duration increased to 20+ seconds, 14-15 kbps: quality
deterioated.
Then I tried samplerate=4000, quality=0.1: 10kbps, but duration 47 seconds.
(barely intelligible).
So, it seems then, that my problem stems from ls's decoding/encoding.
Unfortunately, David's idea of using 'a = audio_to_stereo(a)' didn't
work (perhaps its only a SVN function -- I'm using 0.9.2.6 - FreeBSD
version).
Is there any workaround for this? Is there a possibility of bypassing the
decoding/encoding, or having the original settings preserved?
Thanks,
Andre
