Hi Guys,

I was put onto LiquidSoap by someone on the Rivendell mailing list.
I'd not seen this software before and I must say it's bloody
brilliant!! I'm using it on a server which is running the transmitter
for our radio station, and the ability to cope with switching between
a live stream and a local backup is brilliant, so Thank You very much
for some excellent software!

I have one question though, which maybe you might be able to help out
with. I have the current server at our transmitter on 89.2FM. I'd now
like to put another LiquidSoap based server at the transmitter
covering 90.3FM.

Both transmitters pull a stream from CentovaCast, and Centova's user
page allows me to see who's logged on to the stream at any time. For
example...

Country IP Address User Agent Agent Type Listen Time
 Spain ***.***.***.*** BASS audio library 2.3 Player/Ripper 17 hrs,
20 mins, 27 secs
 Spain ***.***.***.*** BASS audio library 2.3 Player/Ripper 10 hrs,
40 mins, 36 secs
 Spain ***.***.***.*** liquidsoap 0.9.2 Unknown [player] 19
mins, 24 secs
Spain ***.***.***.*** TuneIn Radio Unknown [player] 11 mins, 22
secs
United Kingdom ***.***.***.*** Apple QuickTime Player 6.0 Player 2
mins, 12 secs

As you can see, LiquidSoap is running, and I know that is at the
transmitter for 89.2. I notice the 'AgentType' is blank though. I was
wondering if it is possible to 'tweak' the LiquidSoap code so the
Agent Type could be specified by a command line parameter?
That way I could set it to a unique identifier that would help me see
which machines are connected and what they are doing.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Bon

P.S. - Running on Ubuntu 10.04LTS with Medibuntu repos installed.
LiquidSoap installed from Repos.
