Hi all, I'm new to the list, and I hope someone can help. I've been learning LiquidSoap and think it's a brilliant system, and am really enjoying the flexibility it's giving me in creating some really good solutions for our little radio station. I'm sure this has been asked before, and if there is a solution could anyone point me to it please?
I get that I can 'switch' playlists quite easily depending on the time of day, and I've got that working great. However I need to record certain times of day. We call it Logging. For example, I might need to record 0900-1000am Monday, and also Sunday 1100-1200 and place them into a specific folder on the server for later FTP download as separate files. While this recording is going on I still need streams playing out to the streaming host. How would (or can I) switch based on time of day, and day? This could involve a considerable amount of logs as we add more and more Live presenters. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated, Ian (Bon) Bonham ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Free Software Download: Index, Search & Analyze Logs and other IT data in Real-Time with Splunk.
