First, welcome to liquidsoap. About your question: you can try using input.udp(), but it's not meant to be stable. In addition, UDP is not supposed to work with many codecs, so you have to be reasonable about your expectations. Are you thinking of sending MP3 over UDP using VLC? do you really need multicast, as opposed to a simple HTTP (icecast-compatible) stream?
